Henry Thomas Sledge
Mr. Henry Thomas Sledge Sr. retired from the United States Air Force after 28 years of service. A decorated veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, he received the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Purple Heart. Later in his Air Force career he served as Flight Engineer aboard a C-130 aircraft used in air rescue. He donated much of his time to the Boy Scouts of America and was a long-time member of the Prattville First United Methodist Church.
Jobe "Jay" Thomas Ott
Jay grew up in Montgomery and graduated Lanier in 1951, leaving that day for the U.S.M.C. and later to Korea, where he was twice wounded and received the Purple Heart. He earned sociology and social work degrees, and later earned his Juris Doctor at Jones School of Law at age 62, practicing Elder Law for 16 years. He was past president of the Montgomery Art Guild, appeared in 13 Little Theater productions, and served on the museum board.

Christian Owens Stevens
Christian Owens Stevens, of Canton, GA traded his parachute for angel wings on February 17, 2020. Christian served in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer, stationed with the prestigious 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, NC, completing Ranger school and skydiving demo jumps. He also led the VFW Operation Santa charity, raising over $300,000 for children of forward-deployed troops.
